These Terms govern your use of the United States marketplace operated by Liztd Inc. They cover the website and associated features that link to these Terms. By creating an account or otherwise accepting these Terms through the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18, have legal capacity to contract, and meet any higher age of majority that applies to you. You must not be legally prohibited from using the service. If you act for a business or another person, you must have authority to bind them and manage the information you submit.
Provide accurate account information, keep it current and protect your credentials. You are responsible for activity you authorize or cause through your account. Tell support@liztd.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate someone, buy or sell accounts, or create accounts to evade a restriction.
Liztd lets users publish listings, discover goods and services and communicate. Sellers are responsible for their offers, ownership or authority to sell, required licenses, accurate descriptions and fulfilment. Buyers must assess suitability, condition, authenticity and transaction terms. Users are responsible for taxes and legal duties that apply to their transactions.
Liztd does not take title to listed goods, act as a buyer’s or seller’s agent, process payments between users, hold escrow, or provide a purchase guarantee. A badge, review, listing approval or search position is not a guarantee of identity, legality, quality or safety. Any specific verification explanation applies only to the checks it describes. Nothing in this section excludes a responsibility the law places on Liztd itself.
Buyers and sellers must agree on the price, payment method, delivery or collection, inspection, cancellations, returns and any warranty before completing a transaction. A seller must disclose material conditions before payment and honor applicable consumer rights. Liztd does not issue refunds for payments made directly to another user or an outside payment provider. This does not limit a duty or remedy that applicable law places on Liztd.
The Posting Policy, Prohibited Items and Activities Policy, Reporting Policy and, where relevant, Pet Marketplace Policy form part of these Terms. The Prohibited Items and Activities Policy controls which goods, services and conduct are banned; the Pet Marketplace Policy adds requirements for the permitted pet subset. A permit or local legality does not override a platform ban.
Only categories offered in the marketplace may be used. Liztd does not currently provide a Personals or dating category. Do not use another category to offer dating, sexual services or other prohibited activity.
You retain any ownership rights you hold in your content. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to publish or send it and that it complies with law and our policies. Do not post confidential or personal information without an appropriate lawful basis and permission where required.
You grant Liztd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit and display your content as reasonably needed to operate, secure and provide the service you request. We may permit operational providers to perform those activities for us. For public content, this includes displaying it in marketplace search and discovery. This license does not authorize treating private messages as public advertising or selling your content as a separate product.
The license ends when the relevant content is deleted from our active service, except to the extent needed for lawful retention, backup expiry, legal claims or copies already shared with recipients. The Privacy and Data Deletion policies explain those limits. You do not receive ownership of Liztd’s software, branding or other users’ content.
Optional AI features can interpret searches or suggest listing content. Outputs may be wrong, incomplete or misleading. Check facts, photographs, prices, condition and legal claims before publication. You remain responsible for your listing. Do not use AI to impersonate someone, hide defects, fabricate a product or evade restrictions. The Privacy Policy explains how submitted information is processed. We do not guarantee that generated material is unique or free of third-party rights.
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the service under these Terms. Do not interfere with security, access another person’s account or data, bypass controls, send spam, deploy malware, scrape personal information, manipulate reviews or engagement, or use unauthorized bots. Approved integrations may be used only within their documented permissions. These rules do not prohibit conduct that applicable law expressly permits despite a contractual restriction.
Liztd is free to use in both the United States and India. There are no account or listing fees, paid promotions, paid subscriptions or dealer-upgrade charges. Browsing and messaging are free. Advertising helps support the service. Buyers and sellers arrange payments directly; their agreed prices and any charges imposed by an outside payment or other service are separate from Liztd.
We do not authorize a charge merely because you use the service. Any future introduction of paid features would require advance disclosure, an appropriate policy update and your affirmative agreement before a charge.
We may send account, transaction-related, security and policy notices through the service or to the email address associated with your account. Keep that address current and retain notices you need. Acceptance of these Terms is not consent to optional marketing calls, texts or emails; any separate consent required by law must be obtained.
Links, advertisements and third-party services are provided for their stated purposes. An outside website, payment service or advertiser has its own terms and privacy practices. A link or advertisement is not a Liztd guarantee or endorsement. We remain responsible for obligations the law places on our own service.
The Privacy Policy explains information collection, use, disclosure, retention and choices. Accepting these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for optional tracking, marketing or another processing activity. Public content can be seen and copied by others; review it before posting.
We may investigate, limit distribution, remove content, restrict a feature, suspend an account or terminate access for a policy violation, unlawful activity, a security threat or another substantial risk to the service or users. Serious or urgent cases may require action without advance notice. We will provide notice or reasons where appropriate and required by law, unless doing so would undermine safety, an investigation or a legal obligation.
The Reporting Policy explains reports and appeals. A moderation decision does not determine the legal rights of the parties to a transaction. We may preserve relevant evidence or comply with lawful requests. We do not promise continuous monitoring or detection of every violation.
You can permanently delete your regional account through account settings. There is no recovery grace period or account restoration. Returning users must register a new account, subject to any continuing account restrictions. The former username becomes available for registration and is not reserved for you.
Deletion applies to the regional database holding that account. The User Data Deletion Policy explains immediate removal from active systems, messages, backups and limited retained records. Closing an account does not cancel an obligation to another user or prevent legally required preservation.
Send alleged copyright or other intellectual property infringement complaints to admin@liztd.com. Identify the protected work or right and the specific content or listing URL. Include your name, contact details, your authority to act, and a factual explanation of the claim.
A copyright notice should also include a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or law; a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. Statutory notices and responses must meet the requirements of applicable law. Identifying information may be disclosed to the affected party where necessary for the legal process. The Reporting Policy explains the complaint process and, for the United States marketplace, copyright counter-notices. We terminate accounts of repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances and may act on a serious single infringement. We accommodate and do not interfere with standard technical measures where required by applicable copyright law.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the accuracy of user content. To the extent permitted by law, Liztd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, or for a user’s independent conduct merely because users connected through Liztd.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence where exclusion is prohibited, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot legally be limited.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Liztd for reasonable losses and legal costs arising from a third party’s claim caused by your unlawful content, infringement of another person’s rights or material breach of these Terms. This does not cover losses caused by Liztd’s own unlawful conduct. We will give reasonable notice of a claim and an opportunity to participate in its defense. A settlement imposing an admission or nonmonetary obligation on you requires your consent, not to be unreasonably withheld.
Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, Delaware law governs these Terms, without its conflict-of-law rules. You and Liztd agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of state or federal courts in Delaware for disputes arising from these Terms or the service, subject to mandatory consumer venue rights and any available right to bring a claim in a competent small-claims court.
We may maintain, correct or change features and may suspend an affected function to address security, legal or operational needs. We will provide reasonable notice of a material discontinuation when practicable, subject to the change-notice commitments below. An interruption does not cancel obligations already owed under a transaction or remove mandatory legal rights.
We will post the current version and its effective date on this page. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days of advance notice through a prominent platform notice or email, unless a change must take effect sooner to meet a legal requirement or address an urgent security or safety issue. We will obtain consent where the law requires it. Changes do not retroactively alter a completed transaction or remove nonwaivable rights.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver of later enforcement. Provisions concerning accrued obligations, lawful retention, intellectual property, liability and disputes survive account closure to the extent relevant. Mandatory statutory rights prevail over conflicting wording.
