This policy applies to listings and related content in the United States marketplace. Create accurate offers, use the correct category and comply with the Terms of Use and the Prohibited Items and Activities Policy.
You must meet Liztd’s adult eligibility rule: at least 18, legally able to contract, and any higher local age of majority that applies. Post only an item you own or are authorized to offer, a real opportunity, or a service you may lawfully provide. Businesses, dealers, employers and agents must accurately identify their role and comply with applicable registration, licensing and disclosure requirements.
Use a clear title and accurate category, description, condition, price and location. Disclose material defects, damage, restrictions, missing parts, recurring charges and other facts likely to affect a buyer’s decision. Do not use a misleading low price, bait listing or false availability to attract inquiries. Explain whether a displayed price is a total, monthly payment, starting price or another basis.
State the currency and disclose mandatory charges, deposits and material payment conditions before a buyer commits. Do not advertise a misleading total price or conceal a charge until collection or delivery. Promptly update or remove an offer when it is sold, rented, filled, withdrawn or otherwise unavailable.
For services, identify the scope and important exclusions. For vehicles and property, do not misrepresent ownership, title, mileage, year, access rights or legal status. For jobs, identify the actual role, employer or authorized recruiter, work location and material conditions. Do not demand money or sensitive documents as part of a fraudulent application process.
United States housing, employment and service listings must comply with applicable anti-discrimination, licensing, advertising and consumer-protection requirements. A private preference does not justify an unlawful exclusion.
Use authentic photographs of the actual item or animal whenever its condition or identity matters. You must have permission to use every image. Do not hide damage, fabricate a product or present generated or stock imagery as a photograph of the exact item offered. Illustrative images must be clearly identified and must not mislead. Review AI-generated descriptions and suggestions before publishing. Correct errors in specifications, prices, condition and legal claims. Do not upload unnecessary identity documents, addresses or other private details for AI processing. Where applicable law requires labeling or provenance for synthetic media, preserve those disclosures; a label does not make deceptive content acceptable.
Published listings and their photos and descriptions are public. You may voluntarily include your telephone number or email address at the risk of unwanted contact or copying. Only include contact details you intend to disclose. Public listing location is limited to a general area; avoid revealing a precise address in descriptions or photos. Do not post passwords, one-time codes, full financial details, private documents or another person’s personal information without lawful authority. The Privacy Policy explains how public content, account details and messages differ.
Post only in an appropriate category available in the selected regional marketplace. Do not create duplicates to manipulate visibility, use unrelated keywords, list unavailable items or repeatedly repost to evade a restriction. Update or remove a listing when its material details change or the offer is no longer available.
Liztd does not currently offer a Personals or dating category. Community and Events listings are for genuine community activities; they cannot be used to evade that limitation or advertise sexual services.
Firearms, ammunition, explosives and weapons; pornography and sexually explicit material or services; and wild-caught animals or species protected under wildlife-conservation laws are prohibited on Liztd, even where a seller holds a permit. Local legality does not override these platform bans.
The Prohibited Items and Activities Policy is the authoritative list of platform bans and narrow permitted exceptions. Pet listings are limited to the permitted animal groups in that policy and must also satisfy the Pet Marketplace Policy. Local legality, a permit or the existence of a category does not create an exception.
Complete the fields and media requirements shown in the current posting form. Saving a draft does not make it a public listing. Follow the status shown in your account for publication, review or expiry. Submission does not guarantee publication, placement, approval or a transaction. Do not enter false information to bypass a required field; contact support if a correct option is unavailable.
Respond honestly and respectfully. Do not send spam, threats, scams or unsolicited sexual content. Never ask another user for a password or one-time sign-in code. Reviews and badges are signals to assess, not guarantees of an offer or person.
Reviews must reflect a genuine interaction or transaction and give an honest, relevant account of that experience. Do not buy or sell reviews, review yourself through another account, fabricate an interaction, threaten an unfair review to obtain a benefit, or offer compensation conditioned on a positive review or removal of an honest negative review.
Do not include private contact details, threats, discriminatory abuse or unrelated allegations in a review. Report suspected review manipulation through the Reporting Policy. A negative opinion is not removed merely because the reviewed user disagrees with it. A badge or rating describes only the specific check or feedback shown; it does not guarantee a person or an offer.
Agree on the item, condition, price, payment and handover directly with the other party. Independently verify material details. Liztd does not process payments between users, provide escrow or guarantee purchases. Payment screenshots and an available check balance do not prove that funds are genuine. Check the selected provider’s protection rules for the specific item and transaction before paying.
We may request corrections, remove or limit a listing, restrict an account or take other action under the Terms. Serious violations may result in immediate suspension. Use the Reporting Policy to report a concern or appeal a decision. A policy-compliant listing is not guaranteed a particular level of visibility or response.

We will post the current version and its effective date on this page. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days of advance notice through a prominent platform notice or email, unless a change must take effect sooner to meet a legal requirement or address an urgent security or safety issue. We will obtain consent where the law requires it. Changes do not retroactively alter a completed transaction or remove nonwaivable rights.
